Lydia Hatfield // 18 // Straight // Single // FC: Cara Delevingne // OPEN

“What is this ‘F’ you speak of?”

Background >

Lydia grew up in the richer part of Los Angeles, California. Her father was a very popular senator for California, and her mother was a stay-at-home mom. Skyler never had to even lift a finger to get things done—their two maids were always waiting on her hand and foot. She only worked hard in one thing—school. She wouldn’t accept anything lower than an A+. Her strive to do well in school didn’t stray her from living her life to the fullest. She was always at every party, every dance, and ever social gathering available. She was the daredevil of her social group, always the first to jump off the cliff or to try that strange drink. One day, she was swayed into trying alcohol. She had stayed clean so far, but the peer pressure had gotten the best of her. She downed it quickly, loving the buzz that it gave her. Then, it became a habit. Everyday she would drink, whether it be before, after, or during school. Her grades began to slip, and she so did her care. She came home drunk one day, and her parents knew it, too. They practically grounded her for life, and as they did, they also allowed her social status to lower with every second. From that day on, she vowed to not let anything change her. She worked harder in school, achieving the highest grade point average in her entire public high-school. She was valedictorian of her graduating class, and her speech at graduation was the most memorable. She couldn’t help but remember the day she started drinking and about how it almost ruined her. After graduation she hopped on board of Unexplored Waters, hoping to stop somewhere close to Paris so she could go to her dream school, The University of Sobonne.

Personality >

Lydia is lazy. She isn’t used to fending for herself, and the lack of maids in her room is quickly changing that. She loves to party, but don’t ever offer her a drink. She will say no, and if you don’t back off, expect a fight. She understands what alcohol can do to a person, and she refuses to risk that again. Lydia is a daredevil and she is proud of it. As long as it can’t harm her, she’ll try it. She is pretty, smart, and lovable—she knows it, too. She easily makes enemies, but that is only because of the jealousy. I mean, who wouldn’t be jealous of Lydia Hatfield? She is outgoing, causing her to always be the life of any party. She can be short-tempered, but only when she is offended. Because she is so outgoing, she openly states what is on her mind. If she doesn’t like you, you will know it. Many mistake her talkativeness as flirting, but really she prefers to stick with one man. She falls hard and fast, and that is her biggest weakness.

Swiss soccer player expelled from Olympics for racist tweet

zuky:

From PC Mag:

Days after Greek triple jumper Paraskevi Papachristou was banned from competing in the games thanks to a racist tweet, a Swiss soccer player has been banned for a similarly insensitive message.

After his team lost to South Korea on Sunday, Michel Morganella, a member of the Swiss soccer team, tweeted that the South Koreans could “go burn” and called them “a bunch of mongoloids,” the AP reported.

In a translated statement, Gian Gilli, Chef de Mission of the Swiss Olympic delegation, condemned Morganella’s statements and withdrew the player’s Olympic accreditation.

In his own statement, Morganella said he “made a big mistake.”

As a Korean this makes me angry and so, so sad at the same time.

iamburdenedwithgloriousbatman asked: I really really love you already. Just saying.

That’s the loveliest thing I’ve ever heard on tumblr.

Thanks a bunch.
